If we talk right about the essence or what actually Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is all about then the answer is quite obvious. It’s the pure magic of tremendous storytelling pooled with a visual grandeur which is hardly ever seen in Indian cinema. All of these have turned it into an experience that is really difficult to forget anyways.
SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus has succeeded in presenting the most awaited answer of ‘Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali’ in the best manner. He reveals the splendor of Amarendra Baahubali in the movie where all other characters put the fire of drama as best as they can.
It would be a great experience watching the marvelous story and style of Rajamouli that has to be enjoyed on the big screen only. Everything in this magnum opus takes you up to that moment of wow. However, the strength of Baahubali 2 lies in its characters and how far they went.
There are moments when you won’t blink your eyes and some of the episodes will lead to jaw-dropped with the fear of losing out. And the fantasies are never on stop at any moment till you come to the final avenge by Shivudu, son of Amarendra Baahubali on Bhallaldeva.
Baahubali 2 Movie Review 2017
About Characters of the Movie
As the leading actor, Prabhas- the heartthrob of Tollywood drags your complete attention in every scene with his eye-catching screen manifestation and performance. He brings both the charm and class to his act. And it is fortunate for all the viewers that Rajamouli has chosen such a dedicated actor as the lead in the movie.
After being showcased in an old woman’s getup and in chains in the first part, Anushka Shetty gets her attention here in the conclusion. She voraciously grabs the chance to outshine even her leading hero onscreen in some of the instances. Her character is well-written, and she brings her sharp dialogue with complete composure.
Above all, the chemistry of both is amazing to watch on big screen. Their love story is presented as heart-warming (unlike Prabhas and Tamannaah’s in the beginning part, which was touched by uncanny and fantastic notes). Anushka is also awesome in the action sequences throughout the movie.
Bijjaladeva (Nassar) is far more cunning in this part that you have found him in Baahubali: The Beginning.
In his longing for power Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati) turns into an epitome of evil who plays mind-games at every moment he comes across with Baahubali to achieve what he wants.
Beauty of the Movie
The beauty of the movie lies in the spectacular way the story is told. Yes, Rajamouli has knocked it out of the square yet again. If ‘The Beginning’ gave you the glimpse of Mahishmathi- the kingdom, the second part focuses more on exploring the soul of its characters. Also, how the clash of principles can lead to some devastating results and shatter down of such a grand kingdom.
Every expression of characters in the movie, even if it’s a tear drop or a genuine smile is highlighted very smartly to catch hold of the sight of every viewer. The camera work is tremendous which uses every still in the scenes astutely to make you sympathize with the characters even more.
To experience each and every moment by heart, it would be better to enjoy the visuals on Big Screen. Such an immense set of efforts deserves a grand watching at least.
